Toraino Singleton

Toraino is the owner, founder and lead S/C Coach at Innovative strength & conditioning. Toraino was an All-State football player, and a colligate athlete at U.T.E.P where he was ALL-WAC in 1994-1995. He has a bachelor degree in Sociology and went on to sign an NFL contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and played in the NFL Europe.

“I was first introduced to “personal training” in the summer of 1995. I was advised that I should work with a professional to increase my performance. At the time, I was young and stubborn, and didn’t believe a sports performance coach could help me get faster or stronger? I believed it was all on me. Little did I know, within the first 10-15 minutes I was completely fatigued, I hadn’t even started the workout yet?!

It was at that point that I realized I, an NFL bound athlete, still needed coaching. You’re never “too good” to be coached, there is ALWAYS room for improvement. I went on to the National Football League and competed with the best of the best, with confidence! What my coach/mentor did for me, is what I aspire to do for my teammates! I bring the knowledge and application to the athlete, and acquire trust to develop confidence, hard work, and dedication. I truly believe fitness is a metaphor to life!
